Amelia Moriarty is a writer, illustrator, and fashion model from Vermont, based between New York City and Paris.
Her writing has appeared in Expat Press, Midcult, Maudlin House, New Sinews and others. She has been nominated for The Best American Essays 2026 and named a finalist in the New Writers Flash Fiction Competition. She is an editor at Vita Poetica. She is pursuing a master's in comparative literature at the Sorbonne, and is at work on a debut novel.
As a visual artist, she works in digital illustration and oil painting. She models in New York City with APM Models, in Paris with Select Models, and in cities internationally including London and Shanghai. She works independently as a stylist and creative director, and occasionally acts in films including Plastic Pilgrims (2025) by Rubia al-Sweel and Le Meilleur du Monde (2025) by Marion Standefer.
